Pottery Course
7 weeks of throwing weekly!

What are you learning?
Beginners course: In 7 lessons of 2.5 hours you will learn the basics of throwing. The lessons are given in groups of 4 to 8 people. In the course you will learn wedging, centering, throwing bowls and cups and trimming them. In the last lesson you will glaze your self-made cups and bowls.

Follow-up course: In 7 lessons of 2.5 hours you will learn new techniques for the wheel. The lessons are given in groups of 4 to 8 people. In the follow-up course we will learn how to make a mug with a handle, a pot with a lid and a vase with a narrow neck from a cylinder.
 

After 2 courses you can move on to the open studio. Here you can decide for yourself what you want to make with or without the help of a teacher.

Where?

The studio is located in UNIT 13 of the Labs55 building at Lulofstraat 55 in The Hague.

 

When?

The cost of a course is 350 euros. Once you can work without assistance, the costs are 295 euros including 2 kg of firing, additional firing costs 13.50 per kg. Would you first like to see if pottery is something for you? Then first take a try out esson or a workshop.
