Workshops for groups
Looking for a creative workshop for a larger group? We offer workshops for companies, celebrations, and events for 4 to 30 people. Groups of more than 30 participants are also possible upon request. In that case, we can rent a larger space within the building.
Studio Jordana Ceramics is located in a building full of creative professionals and collaborates with several other artists who offer creative workshops. This also makes it possible for one group to take part in multiple workshops. For example, one half of the group can try pottery at our studio, while the other half explores textiles or painting in one of the other studios.

Clay Workshops
Throwing workshop
During this pottery workshop, you’ll learn the basics of throwing a cup or small bowl on the pottery wheel. We will glaze and fire your favourite piece at 1240°C. Your finished piece will be strong, durable, food-safe, and even dishwasher-safe.

Duration: 2 hours
Handbuilding techniques & decorating
During this workshop, we’ll explore hand-building techniques. You’ll learn how to shape a small dish or cup by hand. After shaping your piece, you’ll add colour using coloured clay. We will glaze and fire your work at 1240°C. Your finished piece will be strong, durable, food-safe, and even dishwasher-safe.

Workshops from other studio's
Weaving workshop
Under the guidance of artist and museum educator Nathaly Vlaun, you’ll learn in a few simple steps how to use a small loom and turn individual threads into textiles. You’ll discover the different materials you can use for weaving and learn how to neatly finish your woven piece.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a colourful woven wall hanging that you can display in your home straight away.

Punch Needle Workshop
Punch needle is a technique used to create texture and relief on a piece of woven fabric. Using a hollow needle and yarn, you can create your own design or pattern by stitching loops into the fabric.
Guided by fashion and textile designer Nathaly Vlaun, you’ll get hands-on experience with this traditional embroidery technique. You’ll learn how to thread the needle, how it works, and which materials you need. During the workshop, you’ll create your own hand-tufted wall piece, which you can take home and hang on your wall straight away.
