Over de cursus

General information: This course contains 7 sessions of 2.5 hours. Lessons are given in a group of maximum 8 people. There is always a mix of beginners and advanced students. There must be a minimum of 4 students for the course to continue. Beginners course: You will learn the basics of making pots on the wheel. In the course you will learn to wedge clay, centering, throwing bowls & cups and how to trim them. In the last lesson, you will glaze your handmade cups and bowls. After this course, it is possible to do a follow-up course. Costs: 350 euros. Follow-up course: You will learn how to make cylinders, how to pull and attach an ear to a mug, how to make a pot with a lid and how to make a vase with a narrow neck. Costs: 350 euros. Open studio with help: You already did a beginners and a follow-up course and want to continue doing pottery. You can come up with your own ideas and ask the teacher for help and demonstrations. You can glaze and fire 7 liters (measured before first firing) of work if you want to fire more you can pay extra for this (4.50 euros per liter). Costs: 350 euros. Open studio without help: You already did two courses and want to work without the help of a teacher. Or you want some extra practice besides the course. You can glaze and fire 7 liters (measured before first firing) of work if you want to fire more you can pay extra for this (4.50 euros per liter). Costs: 275 euros.
